Thaangal is a water management company from Finland. We design, build and monitor water projects for public and private clients.
Most water problems come down to something you can measure: a river that runs dry in summer, a plant that fails its discharge limits, soil that no longer holds rain. We start by measuring it. Then we design the fix, build it, and keep measuring after handover. If the numbers do not support a claim, we leave the claim out.

Desalination technologies
Farmers answered with a chain of water bodies. Each one had its own job, and together they passed water down from the river to the field. A thaangal was the holding stage in that chain. Water rested there long enough for the silt to settle before it moved on. It is often the first stage to disappear when a system is neglected, and it is the one we took our name from.
